Well I checked it all...brake switches/relays are fine. During my test of the wiring going into the taillight, the Orange/White & Red/Yellow were both hot...not how it should be. But while I was poking around the taillights/brake lights went out...the Red/Yellow was now not hot...but if I depress the pedal or hand brake the power flows through the wire and turns on the brake lights...along with all the tour pak lights & the front fender running light.🤦🏻. So all the running lights are off, and only come on when I hit the brakes.
So the bike was recently in the shop for some powder coating and they did some repairs to my rear turn signal pig tails...I wonder if they didn't put it back together right.
I'll have to keep digging...but I can rule out the brake switches...

Guess you are saying they removed pins from plug to remove parts for power coating. Does help to get them back in correct holes.
Might want to see if the unit is on line and pin number color.
It's real easy to do. Especially since it mirrors depending on what side one looks.
Was working on an ignition switch with a mirror checking voltage in off, on and start on wires up in dash.
I finally gave up and pulled lower panel and pulled it out.
People on here that do their own bars on here probably screw up 30% of the time .

I think it goes far past the brake light at this point...I will be going from the wires @ the brake light and checking them all back to the plug under my seat.
The fact that my tail lights are OUT and my brake lights work now all of a sudden is strange...but when I hit the brake, ALL running lights tied to the BLUE power wire light up 🙄
So when my handle bars came off, I am guessing they messed up putting all the wires back together. Does anyone have a diagram of the brake light wires and where they head into the fairing after the harness under the seat. The brake return wire (RED/W TRACER) is constant power...the only time it does not have power is when I pull out the 15A LIGHTS fuse, which kills all the running lights...but allows my brake lights (and all tail lights) to come on when I depress the brakes.
Did you determine if the brake light is stuck on, or the brake light does not come on?
Brake light is stuck on...not from the lever/pedal switch. If I pull the 15a LIGHTS fuse, ALL my lights go out (including front fender running light). If at that point I depress the pedal or pull the brake lever, ALL my lights lite up! 😭.
I am assuming when the shop reassembled the bars, they crossed wires somewhere.
