2019 Low Rider FXLR. Need to replace front turn signal. New signal came with wire but no connector to wiring loom. I de-pinned the old connector to move to the new signal wire. Anyone how to deal with the metal tips that I need to put on the new wires? I assume I can remove / reuse the old tips. Is there a part number for the tips?
Or should I have just cut and soldered? Thank you.
Just fyi. Here are the parts I used. It is really tedious to pin the wires and fit through the housing flap and weather seal. To be honest, if I had it to do over again, I would avoid the purchase and simply cut the old connector off leaving a few inches of wire and solder/heat wrap the new wires to it.
