the bike is a 2005 softail springer classic with efi.
there are 2 extra wires wrapped up under the headlight, one is pink, the other is grey. the ends have right angle connectors on them that are not connected to anything.
i traced them and they go under the gas tank.
the grey one is goes under a motor mount bolt, so its a ground wire, but for what?
the pink wire ends in another right angle connector, but its not connected to anything.
so these 2 wires dont do anything, but i want to know what they are for before i get rid of them.

OEM ground wires go to the ground points on the frame, a gray wire going to an engine mount bolt suggest someone added an electrical component.
I don`t see any pink wires on the wiring diagram.
I suggest you pull the tank and see where the pink wire goes...
