'94 HD Electra Glide Starter Issues
Having some very confusing issues with the starter on my '94 Electra Glide. For reference I just replaced the old starter that was failing to engage and had a solenoid starter button cover rather than using the handlebar controls, so I switched back to the switch on the hand controls with this new starter. The issue is, when pressing the switch on the hand controls, the new starter only clicks. Multimeter shows 12v at the solenoid connector/wire, as well as the bike starts right up when using a power probe from the battery to the solenoid. But as soon as I plug the connector (which again, is putting out 12v) into the solenoid, nothing but a click. This is making no sense to me at all, so hopefully someone has a better idea than I do.
