2012 RK replacing front turn parking lights. Power is good at all connections and plug. Light works. It is LED. Blinker works and does NOT blink abnormally. Park light does not work. In testing and checking- if I plug the ground in, then the park light wire in, the park light works. Then plug in the blinker light it cancels out the park light. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!!!
Are you sure of which wire is which.
The ground should be black.
Try hooking the light at the battery or a battery.
Connect black to Neg and connect one other wire to positive. note brightness.
Then connect the other wire to positive and note brightness.
There should be an easily noticeable difference in brightness of the 2 wire's
I promise you I have tried every combination. I dont have a non LED light to see if it would work properly. I guess I need to go buy one. It just makes no sense. I have a mechanical/automotive background and some wiring knowledge. So its really making me lean towards it just being an LED
Well dang it
I'd have to think about this a bit.
Does everything work with the old lights in place ?
Wouldn't think so but does the bike have a BCM
By chance is the battery getting weak during all this ?

Opps missed this
Was this LED on the bike when you got it?
Guess it's possible it's the led it self.
