Neither 1-1-1-1-1 or 3-1-3-1-3 work. Battery tested and checked to make sure right way. Been trying codes every 10 minutes. tried 6 combos, only 9,994 to go...
I take it math isn't your strong suit. There are 295,245 possible combinations using 1 through 9.
Maybe this will help. to turn the ignition. On off on off on press the left pointer. Two three and push the right indicator. Once this brings up your current pin.

What is the point in argueing the combination 1000 or million, does it matter?
I would call a dealer and see. At what point do you create frankenstein mess and start hacking and replacing parts? As stuborn and cheap as I am, I'd probbaly start creating a **** show before I paid $1 to the dealer.
I'd also search forums. Look for posts on forums from back then too. Maybe get an electrical manual off ebay. You can get them cheap for old bikes.

I spent 2 days searching other forums and posts before I posted here. I have a factory service manual but so far it hasn't been helpful. I have plans to call the dealer Tuesday when the service manager is there, he's been there a long time, much longer than the other guy.
