Sorry. Still working on codes. My wife had her right knee replaced yesterday and I haven't had time to look at the forum. I'll try holding g down on the button.
Thasnks,
Ray
I hope she feels better soon. Thats way more important than messing with fobs.
Hold the fob next to the left handlebar grip and hold the button continuously until the security system reacts. May take 2 minutes. Try twice if it doesn't respond the first time. Be sure fob battery is in correctly and it is advisable to scuff the battery on both sides due to bitter coatings.
Have you verified all fuses - especially accessory?
Yup. I even switched the accessory and battery fuse to make sure because I know the Fue pump works. Then the alarm started going off every minute till the module battery ran down.
If you have no disarm code and no other options I would disconnect ecm and Tssm, then plug them back in and hold button again for 2-3 min. Being certain battery is in correctly. Otherwise you are in for some expenses.

Hooked up the battery and alarm goes off every 30 sec. How can I stop it?
Nevermind. It stopped after 10 min. But now it won't let try and enter code...
