Hello I have a question about my bike I have a 2016 harley davidson softail slim 103 I went to put it away for the winter and after I shut it off the blinkers started flashing but the bike dosent have a fob it has a regular key ignition if anyone knows why that happened I'd really appreciate it thank you
Nope it just did it on its own after putting it in the garage I rode it before that happened and it didn't do it when I stopped the first time only when I started it back up and drove it in the garage and shut it off again is when it started flashing the blinkers
As the bike has a BCM I believe it has a security system. It doesn't have to have a siren though. If all of the BCM equipped bikes work more or less the same then the fob doesn't have a button it is proximity to the receiver. The antenna is plugged into connector 209.
It might be in your interest to find a place with a scan tool that can check how the BCM is programmed.

My bike dosent have a fob it has a key and an ignition switch on the tank I looked at the key to see if maybe it was a chip key but its not when I put it away was the only time I didn't have the key on me but if it needed to be close to the bike the bike shouldn't have started

Did the lights flash in a wig wag fashion, or like when the 4 ways were on on? The microfiche for that bike shows the security antenna as part of the harness. Silly question, but did you buy the bike new? If not, maybe the PO put the fob somewhere on the bike so as not to have to deal with it.
