start issue

Default start issue
Hello all.
I have a 2018 SGS.On the last couple of rides when I first go for a ride and stop to get gas or whatever when I try to restart the bike I get nothing just flashing lights.Whe I turn ignition switch off and wait a few minutes it will start and run with no other issues.I'll ride all day and stop and start and it doesn't do it again.Only at the first stop whether I rode 10 miles or 50.Any ideas what could cause this.

When you say “flashing lights”, which lights are flashing?

The security lights(Front and rear Flashers) I changed out the key fob battery thought it could be that but it wasn't.

Get the battery tested to rule it out as an issue.

It looks good no rub marks or cracks in it.It's still raining here in R.I. When it clears up i'll take it for another ride and see what happens.Just don't want to take it to the local dealer if i don't have to.

The real test of a battery's health is when you start it under load, sitting voltage is only part of it.
