Default Accidental Battery Disconnect!!!

A friend of mine thought he was being helpful and was lending a hand/watching while I was working on the bike. I went off to make a couple of coffees and he disconnected the red, +'ve battery terminal (without me first turning on ignition and pulling the main fuse to disable alarm).

After spilling the coffee when the alarm went off! ( F**k it's loud in a confined space!) I disconnected the negative cable too and thankfully it disabled the alarm.

So my question is: How do I reconnect the battery now? Presumably the alarm will go off again? How do I reset it once it's activated? The fob was on the bike ( 2015 Road King)

Any helpful advice appreciated.

I would unplug the siren. Then, I would pull the main fuse. With fob preset, reconnect the battery. Then, I would install the siren according to the instructions.

1. Remove left saddlebag. See service manual.
2. Remove left side cover. See service manual.
3. With security fob present, turn ignition on.
4. See Figure 19. Remove main fuse (3).
5. Install security siren (2).
6. Connect security siren connector (1).
7. Install main fuse (3).
8. Install left side cover. See service manual.
9. Install left saddlebag. See service manual.
