Default Cruise Control won’t turn off

My 2007 Road King has Cruise Control that won’t turn off with the handlebar switch. The cruise disengages when touching either brake but the idiot light continues to stay on. It’s the type with the on/off on the left handlebar and the set/resume accel/decel on the right side handlebar. Before digging in I thought I’d see if anyone has had this problem before and discovered the solution? The cruise control continues to engage and disengages (using brakes)just fine, it just won’t turn off. Thanks up front.

Default

It fixed itself on the next ride. Probably dirt/dust in the switch.
