Default Red dot on speedo turning on

I’ve got a 2019 iron xl1200ns.
ive also got front and read halo LEDs bulbs. Fronts are drls.

When I ride for extended periods of time with my high beams on, the red dot on my display powers on.

I don’t get hyper flash when my turn signals are on.

anyone have an explanation?

Its the security light reacting to a slight voltage drop when you run the high beams for a long time. LEDs draw different power than stock, and the system senses that fluctuation. Check your battery terminals are tight and you should be fine.

Another Google answer from Bass-M.

Ignore any answers from Bass-M and you should be fine...

I know that when my RED indicator on the speedo light up on my 2013 FXDBP, the BCM is letting you know that a current DTC exists. You will need to check for codes..
