My1995 BADBOY FXSTSB's tail light was switched to LED. It was like this when I bought it from an individual 20 years ago. Now neither front brake lever or rear brake foot pedal will actuate the brake light. Anyone willing to help a 69 year old man figure this out so I can ride my bike...please?
Thank you for your help and time in advance!
Keith

Sounds like there's no signal from the stoplight switches to the stoplight (Red/Yellow wire).
If your acc fuse is failing there will not be any power to the stoplight switches, turnsignal module, fuel gauge light and speedo light (Orange/White wire).
Have you alreday found out if there's a brake/stoplight module used on your bike?

See attached wiring diagram
Turn signals work...Speedometer light works...also running light works, just not the brake light.
I don't know if there's a "brake/stoplight module on my bike. Don't even know where it would be on my bike.

Most probable location for such a device would be under the seat. Try to locate it following the wiring from the brake light under the fender into the area under the seat.
Some images might help...

don't know if this may be it or not, just 4 wires
only 2 things I see under seat besides a starter relay
Here's a link to the instruction sheet for the LE-03 Badlands load equalizer module.
According to this info this module is for your directional lights which are working as you stated.
Could you remove the tail lamp cover and post an image of the tail/stoplight position and base plate?
How many and which wire colors are connected to the base plate?
Have you checked with a multimeter or a probe light if you have 12v power at the stoplight wire at the switches and the rear light circuit board?
Open the taillight. If it's just an LED bulb, change it to a regular incandescent and test it. If it works properly, buy a new LED bulb, or don't.
If it's not a bulb type LED, check for manufacturer name. Then you'll have to get the multimeter out.

The instruction sheet doesn't show Badlander going to brake light, just turn signals.
There are 3 wires at the the LED light base plate. 1 BLACK, 1 RED and 1 Yellow.
...sorry for the blurred picture showing the light, old man shakes...lucky I got that picture...but it's all little LED bulbs. Haven't gotten to testing switches yet.
