Cool Looking for more light

I have a 2003 FXST.
The other night I was almost hit by a car full of girls... great! What a way to go. Either they didnt look, or I was just not visible. Locked up the rear and avoided the collision.

Currently I only have a 6" standard headlight.

I found this conversion kit

The other option is to mount additional lights,

I like the Headwinds, which looks pretty easy to mount to the bottom of the tripple tree. But I don't know if these are going to provide good driving output

I also like the Kuryakyn Silver Bullets

I've been searching arround a lot and like riding with the windshield now that its winter.

Any thoughts?

Thumbs up Turn signal conversion kit for rear

I just installed the kit that converts your turn signals into running and brakes lights also. Comes with pigtail and red lenses for rear signals, about 10 min install. $60.00 bucks.

The only thing they offer is a single bulb with no Hi-Lo beam. You may wish to consider having the option of using a high beam. If you are thinki9ng of using the cheaper ones, where can you mount that large ballast on a Softail? I have still got one of them in the box from a few years back. You will not do it as I have tried on a FXR. I made a SS box that shrouded the ballast. You may wish to purchase from someone who knows how to work on Harleys so they can tell you what works and what does not. Just a suggestion.

All the lights in the world won't help with a car full of girls not paying attention, or guys for that matter.

Try xenonlink.com, they offer a bi-xenon light kit that has a high & low beam in one bulb.
They also offer a xenon low beam & halogen high beam kit. Both are about a $100.00, I have the bi-xenon kit in my Deuce and it works great. I hid the ballast in the tunnel of my fuel tank, mounted to the backbone. It just fit the width of the tank tunnel but I had to raise the tank up about 1 3/4 inches and had to play around with the original headlight wireing to make everything hidden, but I'm very happy with the end result.
