Ok guys, like most Im not happy and concerned about the lack of lighting on the rear of my 2012 Street Glide.
Today I received my LED conversions from Radiantz and I also purchased two Intagratorz (LED strip that alternates amber and red). I would like to hook the red LEDs on the strip up to my brake lights and integrate a "Back Off" to them. For the Ambers I would like to hook up just for the turn signals.
Could anyone provide me with a schematic or color of wires that I need to tap for just brake and just turn signals?
Can't help you b/c '12 wiring's different from my '09, but sure someone w/same bike tail will chime in. Just curious - didn't your light kits come w/instructions??? If not - I'd call the vendor.
Shop manual is the best $60 you'll ever spend. If you have a voltage tester, yu can press one end into the wire and turn on the brake lite or turn signal you are trying to find. Or, if you open up the brake light, or turn signal, you will be able to see what color the wire is. Mine is a 99, so likely they are not the same.
I have a brightasslight on mine 09 FLHX. It has alternating flash patterns for brake light activation and 3 brightness settings. Check it out at www.brightasslights.com

I will be getting the manuel soon, just havent got around to it yet. I will resort to the Voltage tester if I can not get an answer. Just trying to cheat a bit.
Also, trying to keep the clean look on the back so I dont want to add a BAL.

If you want to isolate the turn signals so you can run amber, I think you will have to tap in BEFORE the Facia/Converter Module. That should reside under the seat someplace ..........................
If and when you do this...... be sure to document everything and take pictures. You would be a hero to some people here.
#1 v/bn= + brake turn right
#2 v = + brake turn left
#5 BK = - brake turn left
#6 BK = - brake turn right
#7 BK = + license plate light
#8 BE = + run left
#9 BE = + run right
#11 BK = - license plate light

I've been investigating the same thing. I want to put Custom Dynamic Clusters on the rear of my 2012 RG. I have the service manual and have been looking at that same diagram. I am trying to figure how to send separate brake and turn inputs to the lights, they combine when going through the converter. I'm thinking if I tap in a lead for the amber turn before the converter, it will not work correctly because it will still be sending a "turn" input to the brake light lead from the output side of the converter. If that makes sense. Maybe I am over thinking this and there is an easy way to do it right in front of me and I'm completely missing it....
