Default Flasher location
Im riding a 1980 FXSB, love the bike, hate the turn sig system. You must keep your thumb on the sw to keep the flashers working while working the cluch or fuel in a turn. Intalling a turn signal module with auto canceling so it will work as a newer bike. The module has a built in flasher so I must remove the oem flasher. The flasher must be one of the new electronic ones as there is no clicking when used, this is where my problem comes. Where is it? I dont realy want to remove the eng and transmission and gas tank just to find a flasher. I know where it is in the drawings but not on the bike. If any one has an idea on any of the older FX rigs please let me know.

if i remember correctly, it is under the tank divider in front of the ignition swx

Found it inside the headlite bucket.

I picked up the module from Dennis Kirk, its made by SDC. Fast install and it works great.
