Default Duece Rotor Problems

Ihave a 2001 Custom Duece with a S&S 116" top end. Twice in the last two years my charging system has failed. The splines on the rotor have stipped and created a big hole in the rotor and a a free floating rotor to bang around in the cases.

Anybody run into this before? I know they make a heavy duty rotor which is about twice a thick, but wasn't sure if anyone knew the cause?

thanks,

Dueceman

Default Compensator nut

I would guess that your compensator nut is not being torqued properly. What procedure have you been using to torque it?
