Stator Regulator Replacement
Does anyone have any pictures, video's, step by step guides, tips, etc
about replacing a stator on a 2003 Road King? I do have a Harley shop manual, however I am just looking for something more. There is a LOT of knowledge on these forums! THANKS!

- Make sure stator is indeed bad.
- Be careful with (i.e use toll to remove and replace) rotor.
- Check rotor for loose magnets or grove in center of rotor (side facing the stator).
- WD-40 works well on the stator plug that goes through the primary.
- Torque compensator nut properly.
- Clutch hub nut loosens CW.
- Ensure bolt for regulator ground at transmission exhaust bracket is snug.
- If rotor is bad too, consider upgrading to a Cycle Electric alternator kit.
If you have any questions just holla'. I just replaced mine about 3 weeks ago.
