Signals
Feeling really green...bought my first bike back in March, 883iron. A Couple of weeks ago finally got the ***** to start making some mods myself. Internally wired the handle bars with relative ease. Everything went back together and worked just fine for the past 10 days. Just got turn signal fork clamps. Hooked 'em up, tested controls, I've got no horn, no turn signals front and rear, no brake lights. I did pull the turn signal wires a bit to make them reach down and stay tight to the fork, and I did have to tighten the bolt that goes into the signal light a good bit. So my question is this...is there something in the signal light that the bolt could have damaged and short out other controls, or did I simply disconnect the signal wires which would cause other controls to malfunction?
