Default Problem with Spot lights 2006 FLHTC

I replaced the POS Harmon Karmon radio with a Sony and a hawg wired modular adaptor. The radio and handle bars controls work fine. Now I find my spots do not come on. The switch does not light up and I cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere on the internet I can download. These are not the regular spots but an extra set that I had a dealer install. I don't know if taking off the fairing if I screwed up something. I am an electronic tech, pretty good with wiring. I was wondering by disconnecting the HK radio, I lost a ground somewhere? Has anyone had this problem before? I know the spots are connected to the low beam of the headlights and I redid this connector. The spots were working before I disconnected the radio and removed the fairing. Thanks.

There is a ground wire at the lower tripple tree that often comes loose - it's a spade lug. I had to chase it down after I painted the inner fairing. Provides ground to the forks so current doesn't have to fight the bearings and grease.

Thanks Dallas, I will look for this ground wire. The thing that threw me off is that the Sony radio I installed had a ground plug on it or could of been part of the antenna. I don't have a schematic but didn't want to persue this unknown wire. Thats why I was thinking the Harmon Karmon had some sort of ground that was removed when I replace the radio.

I will check it out this weekend. Thanks for the advice, Dallas. Happy Riding!
