Radio does not work or have any power after handle-bar swap
Checked both fuses in the fuse box, both good, pulled front fairing back off, pulled the radio harness and reconnected it, checked antena, still no power.
This is a MISTERY, before the handlebar swap, as soon as you turned the ign. switch the clock would display and the radio would work fine, now you open the ign. switch-NOTHING. Any sugestions on what else to check for would be appreciated.

Got home from work today, took the outer fairing back out, inspected all the fuses, all were good, pulled the radio harness plug, all the radio pins looked good, put a little dio-elect. grease on the plug and re-inserted it, looked around the radio, didn't see any loose wires no where, turned the ign. switch on, still no clock display or power to radio, then I decided to do a ground test:
Took a test wire with a clip on either end, clipped one end to the frame down by the crash bar, the other end to the body case of the radio itself, turned on the ign. switch and guess what, the clock was ON and the radio worked! So it's definitely a ground issue. Now comes the big question: Should I remove the radio again and search to try to find the ground wire that was left out, or should I run me a new ground wire from somewhere near the frame neck to one of the 4 bolts that hold the radio? Thanks for your suggestions.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Rode to work this morn., no radio, so couldn't listen to traffic reports in Atlanta, but made it OK, not a bad ride. While on break I called the Indy mechanic that I go to, told him what was going on and asked could I bring it in, he said sure I'll take a look at it. Got off work, went straight to his shop in West Ga., got there, he'd just finished another bike, took my fairing out, got to looking at all the harnesses and wiring, and within seconds he spotted the problem: The ground wire coming from the triple tree was disconnected, he showed it to me, then he plugged it in, turned on the ign. switch, and sure enough the clock was on and the radio and CD both worked! PROBLEM SOLVED! He then put the fairing back on, and I was good to go, we talked a few min., then I asked the man what I owed him, he said your a regular customer, so don't worry about it. Finally, I left there and rode home to Douglasville, Ga. and listened to all my favorite stations in the area all the way, good ride. End of story.
