Hey everyone, question: Does anyone know what year gas tank and fenders fit on a 2009 Road King? I have read some people say 98-current road kings and others say some different years will fit? I want to get new tins to paint for my bike and not mess with the origionals. Thanks in advance for answering!
other wise you need 09+ rear fender, 09+ gas tank ( 6 gallon- earlier models had the ignition coils under the tanks, 09+ doesn't)
09+ side covers
front fender can be from 90's on up- the fatboy or street stalker fenders are a good look on the RK. they mount up with adapter blocks
rear fender differences between touring series models are the tailight and bumper/tip bolts/holes
gas tanks vary with center dash
if going to paint determine if any bolt holes won't be used, have them welded up, any rivets, have the area welded and the rivets ground off. makes for a more complete custom look
