Default Headlight help

I just bought the Rivera Primo headlight for my 2006 FXDWG.
The turn signals are wired internally in the handlebars. On this light there are LED lights built into the headlight ring that can function as signals.
I just installed the Cycle Visions Eliminator taillight, but have never really done much wiring on a motorcycle. The bars like I said are wired internally, with the wires exiting from under the controls.Does this wire run back to the signal module or is it wired into the switch?I can splice the wires as they exit the bars near the gooseneck and have traced them back through the mesh cover. It looks like the same wire in the loom, but want to make sure before I go cutting **** up.
Thanks in advance for any help with this install.
