Default 98 road king died and now wont turn over

my 98 road king died the other day and wouldn't restart. it wont even turn over although all the lights and the fuel pump kick on when i turn the switch on. im sure its something electrical and have checked all the fuses that i know about but am by no means a mechanic. does anybody know what process of elimination i should go through and can u try to explain to me? im a poor boy and putting my bike in the shop is not an option any time soon.

I'd be looking at the battery cables (both of them) especially around the starter solenoid. might be loose, corroded, etc. starter/battery wires both hot and ground seem to be problematic for many years. also take a look at the starter relay
