I removed the Fuel Gauge of my 2010 streetbob to install a Roland Sands Fuel Gauge Replacement Cap (Dummy Cap). Yesterday I filled up my tank but the 'low on fuel' indicator in the dash stays on, even the 'reach' stay on 'r ---'
I don't have an electrical schematic for it it but heres the Parts
I'm willing to say the Gauge has a circuit board in it , since you removed it thats
probably part of the circuit and it's "missing" so the Low will show up
