anyone replaced a stock fuel gauge for a new fuel gauge with a charging gauge built into it? how hard is it to remove old gauge and what do I need to look for?

Reason: added info
if you're talking about the fuel gauge mounted in the top of your tank, it's easy. it simply pops out. run a couple of wires for the volt meter, and you're set.
Not sure about the newer ones but I can tell you that was the worst $ i ever spent on my roadking a few years ago (06). fuel gauge was grossly inaccurate but it looked cool.
