cover your passing lamps with rags to prevent from scratching the fairing
on each side of the fairing on the inside;
there is a torx screw about mid way down
below the fairing, inside the forks there are 2 more torx screws
the 3 screws across the windshield need to be removed as well
unplug your headlamp as you pull the fairing off.
service manual is priceless
