Having problem starting. New battery starter main circuit breaker when all change out it started np now nothing u hear a click when hit the button I'm tiredtrying find the problem now

Do you get a loud metallic click when you push the start button?
Put your hand on the starter when you push the button, when you hear the click, can you feel it in the starter?

Reason is my '86 has never done this (as to date) I real don't want this to happen to me, but from the EVO section I'm prepped.
