Cool brake light issues

I own a 06 Heritage Classic (injected), and the other day my rear brake lights quit working. Running lights are still good, replaced fuse (even though it appeared fine) and the bulb (also looked fine) and still no luck. My first thought was the stoplight switch, but it seems that most problems related to that switch cause the stop lights to stay on. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Try following the wires from the stop light. Might have pulled apart or rubbed somewhere. Check the switches for loose wires as well.
Good luck.

Unfortunately I have only been able to spend about 10 minutes diagnosing so far. Up to this point, I have eliminated everything from the light back to the relay, or whatever the little black box is that the harness plugs into before it passes through the fender. I guess that is where I'll restart my search with the 10 minutes I'll have tomorrow, lol.

Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. It is definitely the switch. Unplugged the switch and jumped the connections and voila!!! Brake lights! And I was able to keep it within my 10 min window!!!

How likely is it that both the front and rear brake light switches go out at the same time? I have the rear brakes actuating the stop light after replacing the switch, but nothing on the front.
