Changing a speedo sensor on 02 softail duece
Hey guys, just got my first bike and am new to all of this. I took it out for a ride and the speedometer quit working along with the odometer. It also wanted to stall when I came to a stop. I've been researching the problem and it seems I need a new speedo sensor. Can any of you tell me where this is located? I've been searching on the internet and can't seem to find any diagrams. I'd appreciate any pics or information you could share. I can't imagine it's that hard to change out, if I can find it.......Thanks!

it located near the oil filter, if you take it out and wipe it clean, you dont need a new one. Its happened to me a few times and I just wiped it off and it was working again.
