Default Charging problem

On the way to work today, bike started as normal, ran fine. But half way to work the engine light and red battery light came on and I noticed the voltage gauge was just below 12. I got to work, it's now down to 10. Don't know if I'm going to make it home.

What can I check? Is it possible that it's something easy like a fuse or corroded connector?

I have an .08 Road Glide, 90,000 KM.

Any advice would be much appreciated as I'm leaving on holidays tomorrow. Thanks.

check the connector coming out the front of your primary that goes to voltage regulator. might be loose, corroded or broken. if not broken, clean it up real good and put dielectric grease in there.

You're in the DIY Electrical section! To post your query you passed by a number of stickys that give advice on checking your charging system, which should help you identify the guilty part.
