Bike won't start and starter just clicks. I took battery cables off to clean the connections I noticed that when I was connecting the ground cable back up there was a small amount of arching going on. The ignition was off. Seems like something is drawing current when bike is off or is this a normal event? The battery is only 2 years old.
It sounds as if your battery is down on power, probably quite a lot. I suggest you remove it from the bike and charge it overnight. It should hold well over 12 volts once charged.
The problem may be down to a duff battery, or your battery is not being charged properly while riding. There may be another problem, of course, but try the basics first and let us know what you find.
