hi all. been a while,the neighbors bike is in my garage again. ('98 heritage classic) the bendix aint' kicking out on startup,so i gotta go in.

from the diggin' around i've done,looks like i pull the primary cover,remove the bolt from the bendix,then remove the 2 bolts holding the starter in. other than the obvious like cables and wires is that about it?

i wonder if the starter just needs a good clean up internally,maybe the contacts in the solenoid are burnt? any input? otherwise,whats a good replacement?
