Fuse blowing question???? Please help!!
I loaned my bike (99 Road King) to a friend and he put the battery in with the cables reversed. I don't know if the thing started for him or what. Now the fuse for the brake lights / directional / and odometer are out. I tried changing that fuse but it blew again quickly. I put a new voltage regulator on and the same thing. It blows the fuse after it run a couple minutes. Please Help..Thanks, Joe

Let`s try something quick and easy first.
Put in a new fuse.
Remove the brake light relay.
Turn on the ignition, see if the fuse blows.
If the fuse still blows, get ready to start unplugging connectors to isolate the short to ground.
Put in a new fuse.
