So i just bought this bike a couple weeks ago. Everything seemed normal. I drove it home from work the other night in the dark. I noticed my brake lights were stuck on. No change when I pump the front brakes. If I pump the rear brakes they go out, but come back on in a short time. On, off, on, off, etc. wierd thing is that the cruise control works fine. Rear brakes don't turn the cruise off, but front do fine. I was out riding last weekend and also noticed that if stopped, or barely moving, if I press the rear brakes the stereo would cut out. But if at speed, the stereo foes not cut out when the rear brakes are pressed.
So would or could it be as simple as the rear brake switch? I find it funny I can press the rear brakes and make the brake lights come on, but not kill the cruise.
Any ideas?
Edit: I guess I should add that its a 2008 Ultra Classic
