I've not had too much luck with any Wood cam and no valve train noise. And if you want to make it worse, use those wonderful Wood lifters.

Oh no you didn't just say a woods product was no good did you. Have you not talked to him and let him try to get you to drink his Harley Cool Aid. You must have put the lifters in wrong with the oil holes not matching up. You know the oil holes have to match up because they are in the part of the lifter that is smaller in diameter than the rest of the lifter that holds the oil supplied by the pump. I am kidding I know how this works plain and simple that damn feed hole as long as it is in the relief in the lifter it don't care where the supply hole is at it is going to get oil no more or no less if the two holes don't line up. The man is about power so I don't under stand why he has his manufacture remove one flat so you can only put his lifters in one way now the lifter weighs more and anybody building a race motor knows the lighter the parts in the valve train are the more power. He made these useless changes to make it look different than a normal lifter and for people that don't know what end of a screw driver to use think oh my god that has to be trick **** so he can rob them. Bleed off internal and external tolerance and Valving is what you want and no body knowers this stuff better than the name brand people like Lanatti,Isky,Comp Cams,Crower. A harley lifter is no more than a small block LS series lifter and I think all the people i stated would already done this years ago if it helped anything. Like I said unless you are filthy rich and love to waist money be careful drinking the Harley Cool Aid.
