Allright you motorheads, I have my stock cams out and about to install one or the other, Which would be your choice? A Fueling Reaper 543c or a Screaming Eagle 255h. I have both in hand and still can't make up my mind.
Stock 09 Ultra with K&N filter and Rinehart 3 1/2 slipons also a Thundermax going on same time.
Very different cams, 255s should be better in the lower rpm range, 543s in the higher rpms.
You know better than us where you want your performance to shine the most.
Most of my riding is backroads and hi ways, 55mph plus and at that speed I am about 2200 rpm in 6th. I just don't want to put the 255s in and want more on the upper mid. Not going to drag or anything but got a great deal on both cams.
I picked 204 cams when I was trying to be sold 211 cams. Why, because those cams put the power in the rpm range that I ride in most often, but I also like to "hot rod" around now and then. This is more of a personal choice and I think that you need to look closely at what the cams AND the tuner are going to do for you in the range you ride in.
Sorry if that doesnt help, but it has been the best bit of wisdom that was given to me when I made my selection.

I believe I am going with the 543s and see what happens. I am just thinking the 255s will run out on me when I do wind it up. But I still have them sitting here so if I don't like them I can change them. Exhaust is a pain in the *** though!!!!!
