I am considering having Fuelmoto install their 107 conversion on my Road Glide. I am very interested in hearing from those that have had it done, especially high mileage people. How did it affect fuel mileage, engine temperature, and any other issues. Thanks in advance.
We have clients with *our in-house machined* 107" kits(since 2007) that have north of 50,000 miles on them, that we've tracked.
No longivity issues on that bore size from what we see.

my 107 runs cool have a jagg oil cooler average temps 235* on the highway in 80* weather. on interstate cruising 50 mpg and secondary roads and hard riding 42 mpg. 16,000 miles on her now.
Fuel Moto wouldn't have sold and/or installed thousands of these kits to people if there were some significant problems of any kind. Go ahead and have them install one in yours. Their service and customer service are second to none.
We looked at this bore size very closely in relation to spigot wall thickness, BDC piston thrust load, etc, etc, prior to being one of the first shops in the country to lead the way in doing this.

fuel mileage will be determined by the degree of your build (same with any heat issues) we like to taylor our 107" kits to perfectly fit the owners rideing style & expectations.make sure you have FM (or whoever) do the same

you will have a good days worth of riding to Hillside or Fuel moto ..Call both and see who "gets ya".. Ill tell you this.. i went with Scott at Hillside for a 117 after speaking with him and do not regret it one bit. you can tell he understands how to BUILD motors, and knows how to taylor it to exactly your needs. He builds them to your specs..not an off the shelf build.. thats what really got me..
