Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
Hope this is the right place for this but I am looking for a 1340 Evo Engine to play with.
My mechanical skills are as low as a snakes butt so want an old (doesn't even have to be running) engine to cut my teeth on, be able to pull apart and screw up without messing my own bike up.
Have searched the internet for salvage bikes etc but haven't been able to find anything.
Anyone here know of such an engine that someone wants to get rid of or sell for "reasonable price"? As said, I don't care if the thing even runs so long as it is pretty much complete if possible.
Nothing here like that.
We do however have a 98" Panhead with S&S cases and STD Heads in a Santee(?) chassis, that needs some Paucho springer parts.
