Default cams....

Between Woods, Feuling, or S&S what cam will preform the best?
Im thinking of doing a hi performance 95" with head work to match the cams. If I go s&s it will be the .585" . If i use feuling it will be their .594" an if i choose woods it will be one of their .590".
Between the three which will produce the most TQ?

each has cams that are very good for a given build & application.total lift has not as much to do with it than timing specs.figure what RPM range your looking for the cams to make power in,what compression ration will be used and match the cams to that

The woods cams would require a little less compression to make work than the others, produces good torque and with the 6,8 and9 series you can move your power band around to fit your riding style all good performers question is where do you want your power band. The fueling cam needs a real lot of static comp to make work and the S&S has a nice over lap and maybe a little lumpier than the other 2 with a little better exhaust scavenging. And with an lsa of 102.5 might get a little better torque at low end. The question is how do you want to ride. All three of these cams have different ranges......

A 98" with a Wood 8 can be a real ripper.
Thayers Sales & Service, Cofu, NY, tuned one of our combo's not long ago.........115/116.
An S&S .585 is no slouch whatsoever either.
A Wood 9B also will push off great power set up correctly.
Many ways to achieve a potent combination.
