Default HELP!!!!! problems with starting!

Please help!
Just bought a 2007 Harley super glide... When we test drove it and then bought and drove it off the lot it worked fine.... However, now it won't start! At first, it was making a loud clicking noise but not turning over. Battery was tested as good from 2 places. Was told it was the solenoid. Bought a rebuild kit and this didn't work either!! Now, its not making the loud clicking or turning over! Please help!!!

Did you try starting your bike by pressing the rubber boot inside the solenoid Also check the starter relay.

99% of the time it's the battery. I have never had any luck having motorcycle batteries tested at auto parts places. There are many threads about folks having their batteries tested "good" at AutoZone, etc., only to find out that it was not after replacing everything else. Try connecting a 35 amp charger to the battery and hit the starter button. If it starts, or at least turns over, it's the battery.

Ouch. Don't jump it with your car. Buy a new battery. I agree with dynawg when he says not to trust the battery testers. I have been told my batteries were good, but just based on experience and their failure to take a charge, replaced them, and problem solved.
At least take your battery out, and put it on a 2 amp trickle charger. Not a battery tender. If it doesn't charge up to where it tests at 13 volts, with no load, replace it.

Put a test light on the wire going to the starter and see if you have power going to the starter. If no power getting there when you try to start it, try a new starter relay, they are cheap
