Pretty standard HD kit that was used then.
No barn-burner, but a good bump up/over the OE 88" power.

Sounds like a standard stage 2 kit, it wont be a tire shredding, wheelie pulling, power monger but a very respectable and enjoyable bike I would say.

My girlfriend's dad has a '03 road king with the stage 2 95in and FI, and his bike runs excellent, has for many many miles and road trips too. He loves it, and had me working a little to keep up when my 103ci was 100% stock. He's also got a softtail with the same setup that I will be riding on our next day trip.

Don't worry about it (he apparently has little faith in Dealerships,) but at 5,000 miles it's had its shake out period.

Stage II 95" kits are excellent. Mine has 150,000 miles on it and puts out 85 HP and 95 ft/lbs TQ (or about 30% more usable power over the stock 88".)
