Default 2015 RG engine build

Ok Guys,
So I have decided to do a bit of engine work over the winter. I have decided that I will replace the heads and do the cams. I am leaning to the S&S 89CC super stocks. I am currently running D&D 2-1 pipes, a SE air breather, and a FP3 tuner. I don't want to have to do any mill work on the motor but keep it bolt on. I have been looking all over but can't find any builds showing what exactly components to use and what type of numbers I should see.
I am NOT trying to build the biggest baddest motor out there, I want to have great reliability and that is the reason for wanting to use out of the box items.
I ride 2 up 50-60% of the time, the bike has a tour pack also so its a bit heavier. I don't ride extremely hard and stay mostly under 4500 RPM unless I really want to rip it once or twice. Most of my riding is weekend riding 100-200 miles and maybe a total of 50 miles during the week.
I would like to stay under $3K for the entire build and get the reliability needed.

Thanks for your help guys.
Pete

Why are you replacing the heads and not the cams or pistons?

Being a 2015 model, the desire to retain factory warranty is probably a factor in the decision making process for the OP and the reference to "bolt in" components points to one of the new HD 110 "compliant" kits that will retain the factory warranty if dealer installed. There are several; one is attached. Get the 2016 SE Pro Racing Parts catalog for all the "compliant" kits.

S&S heads, besides requiring new pistons will very likely void the factory warranty. However, if retaining the factory warranty is not an issue, there are many ways to skin the cat.

I should have been more specific, I am planning on doing I cams also. My point with the heads was that I am willing to do the heads too. I wanted to stay away from doing the jugs and pistons if possible. I didn't realize pistons were needed with the heads.

In the wind, where about are from? I am in Eden Prairie

Consider just doing cams for your riding style. Plenty of 4500 and under tq cams, or why not rework stock heads for less than new S&S

I agree with dave. Work your stock heads, and do the cams, and a good tune. Probably right around your budget with labor. If the warranty is an issue thats a whole different deal.

I've had the dealer install SE parts prior to picking up the brand new Harley only to deny the warranty claim when there was a problem with their own work.

Better to leave it 100% stock for the warranty period.
