Don't know what you are doing to support the 97" kit but 100/100 is pretty much the norm these days; should be able to do that in your sleep.

That's what I run. When I bought my bike, it was a 2001 EGC with the MM injection. The previous owner had installed S&S 510 gear driven cams and the Harley programmable ECM (same thing as the S&S VFI). I put a V&H ProPipe on it and added the S&S VFI Autotune kit. Last winter I rebuild the top end using the S&S 97" kit, S&S 89cc Super Stock heads, SE 1.725:1 rockers on the intakes, S&S forged 1.625:1 rockers on the exhaust, billet rocker supports, S&S quickee pushrods, & S&S Premium lifters. I tried to break it in like that, but quickly realized that the MM injection wasn't cutting it. Replaced the MM with an S&S 52mm throttle body with the S&S tuned induction air cleaner. I tried tuning it myself for a couple of months, then I took it to Wolfgang Grasser at Mutant Motors by Wolf and put it on his dyno. He and I played around with the tuning for about half the day. I wound up with 105hp and 109ft/lbs of torque.

a 97" (or 98" kits we do here),should easily make 100+/100+.105-1 will be a bit much for the woods 6 cams, you may want to look into the S&S 585 cams or woods 6H cams

Client from Merideth NH, recently had us build a 98", with our Stage III Super Tour Heads.
While tuning that combo with a .585 S&S cam, DAS Performace, in Drakett, Mass ran out of injector at 119.7 hp.
Dan Thayer, Thayers Sales & Service, Corfu, NY, in the not so distant past, had another one of our 98"ers on his drum, with a Wood 8, OE t/body, modified,........115/116.

Anyone not getting 100/100 from a 97"/98" motor should be spanked by their momma; it's just to easy with the hardware currently available. Of course, one has to do the homework, or listen to guys like Scott and Kirby but you know what "they" say............................"it's not rocket science".

Agree'd. Even a VERY mild 98" should kill 100/100.just had a guy do 109/116 with. 570 S&S cams.10.0-1.and our street port headwork.also done many. 585/10.5-1 98"ers that will do just under 120/120
