I had the woods tw555 cams in my stock 14sgs. They worked very well and would pull away from a friends bike that had the tw222 cams. And they work even better with compression and headwork leaving room for upgrades.

I put Andrews 48H cams in my 05 Fat Boy last winter and haven't stopped smiling since. These cams deliver everything I could have hoped for.

OK, here we go. Another one that is more concerned about how the motor sounds than how it runs. With respect OneShot, I get it, just don't understand it. However, if a nasty idle is what you are looking for, install the SE204; doesn't get much nastier than that.

Can't argue with Hillside - if you lurk around long enough you'll find that they build/tune a ton of bikes and know what's up.

Personally, I put 57H's in my stock 103 with air, SERT, V&H pro-pipe and dyno tune. It really woke up my Road King. Torque is there from the get go and stays on through 4700 rpm. On the back roads its a slight turn of the wrist for the power to come on and on the highway, passing in 6th gear is an every day occurrence. Also, I think exhaust will play a key - IMHO going with a 2:1 with the 57H is the way to go.
Good luck- no matter what you do, you'll enjoy it more than stock.

Nothing wrong with liking to have an aggressive sound!
The sound is one outcome of performance. You can have both.

The 204 does have a nice lope.

They make a bike called a Hayabusa if your looking for performance only

I just finished installing the SE 204's and for my riding style I definitely made a great choice. I typically ride solo, use it for running errands around town and day rides 100-500 miles. It is REALLY REALLY rideable. I've got 10' wide glide 96" with a powervision, Rinehart 2-1, and a fuelmoto stage 1 AC. I've only put about 100 miles on it so far but I'm really impressed. It looks like my fuel mileage will also increase as long as I can avoid really twisting the throttle, which is tempting me at every stoplight. Prior to cams, the motor would lug around 1800 rpm and need to downshift. Now, around town I can cruise in 5th gear at 45 mph no problem. It seems to lug more around 1500-1600 now. A buddy of mine who's got an 08 stage 1 street Bob took it out and got it up to about 70 mph an couldn't believe he still had one gear to go. I haven't got to take it on a road trip yet but I'm anxious to see what it'll do.

WTF? Mine does 70 in third with three gears left to go.

At 110 in sixth it still has a couple of thousand RPM left before it hits the rev limiter.
