Advice on Cam
Looking for advice if this cam may make it awhile longer. I would just replace it but with cam EV27 ,gasket,shim,bearing and puller install tool it's like 300+..Just put S&S rockers new covers pushrods and covers Fueling lifters so got some money into it. Also had the rings and cylinder honed. Anyway waiting for the lifters to come Monday to button everything up. Now worried about the cam what do you guys think?

1990 FLHS here, owned from new! There are Evos that have gone round the clock, with over 100k miles on them. I can't help thinking your cam is fine. It may not look fresh out of the box, but otherwise looks OK to me. A member recently changed his EV27, because the surfaces of the cams had started to lift off, which is definitely not good, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.
We have a dedicated Evo section, which you should look in on, with several other FLHS owners you can chew the fat with!
