Default Acr question

So I am installing acrs on my bike that didn't come with acrs. I have the harness, acrs, map for my powervision to use them. Now here is the catch and the question. If I install my wiring harness and the acrs in the heads but don't hook them up to one another will they be ok if I ride the bike for a couple of days before I take the bike to the dealer to have the ECM flashed or will I ruin the acrs just by having them in the heads and not functioning?

The acr's just won't open when the starter button is pushed. They remain closed, just like they would when the engine is running and they are hooked up and they are flashed to open when starter button is pushed.

You have a PV, just turn them on with that. You don't need to take it to the dealer...

Dynojet advised that I would need a dealer flash in order to operate them because my model of bike did not have an option for acrs from the factory (06 Dyna)

Ah yes, good point. The thought hadn't even crossed my mind. I guess you better save that to the PV after you get back home. I assume you'd then have a map that would include all the code to turn them on/off from there on out. Did you ask dynojet about that? I'd be curious to know if that's the case.
