So, a while back I took the bike to Harley dealer for a 10,000 mile "check up" and was told the bike had an intake leak which was covered under warranty. Also was told there was "no oil" in the bike, I find hard to believe but since I left the bike couldn't check it on spot before work was done. Are the 2 related? I don't think so.
Seal, manifold air pressure...
Seal, intake manifold
Replaced intake seals.
Covered under warranty.
Thanks for the input, I'm new to the mechanical part, sorry. Would prefer to do all the work myself as I know when I can do this it will get done right.
I do not see how they are related. That said i would make sure they do all the warranty work so it is documented, specifically "No Oil" at 10k service. Where did it go? What are the long term effects?

Lol yeah, my question too. I think it was just a slick sales pitch and since I left the bike and wasn't there had no way of seeing for myself.
As for the intake leak any opinions? I never noticed an issue in performance but after the service the bike stalled out in hot, biker rally conditions.
