I would not; things just improve, with either cam, with better exhaust. TQ comes on sooner, probably no dip, higher peak TQ, more TQ under the curve and maybe a little fall of on peak HP. Cams fall into "families" you could pick another cam from the same family the TTS100 or the 54 belongs to with little difference in performance. That's what gtrracer was referring to when he warned about getting wrapped around the axle on cam specs.

Follow your instincts, pick a cam and go with it; you will be happy with either one............

Thanks man. For some reason my gut tells me to go with the 54. It's been out a while and is a proven cam with lots of data out there on it. The TTS 150 is just now shipping and although TTS has had fantastic reviews from many in this thread and others, I think I just feel more comfortable going with the Andrews. Plus my tuner suggest that cam also.

You guys have all been a massive help!

Just got my lifters in the mail today. Does any one know if the S&S standard lifters are supposed to be marked with any kind of S&S logo etc? There seems to be nothing on them and I cant help but wonder if they may not be S&S lifters.

The ones I have installed didn't have anything on them.

Can anyone confirm if the Koyo cam bearings #B-168; PB; L125 is the right bearing for my 2012 Softail? There is also a number on it that's T0215C0059.

TO be honest I thought I ordered Torrington bearings but will have to check the invoice on Monday.

Appreciate your help.

B-168 is correct, it's the torrington.

Thanks Msocko3. So is it just re packaged as a Koyo but sold by and made by Torrington? I looked everywhere on the bearing and the only marking "name" I found was Koyo. I'm good with that if it's the right bearing and not junk but just curious to know how it's a Torrington.

Koyo bought the Torrington needle bearing division from Timken in 2011

When the Timken Bearing Co. acquired the Torrington Co. (which had earlier acquired the Fafnir Bearing Co.) they became the Mother-Ship for Timken, Fafnir, and Torrington. Timken sold Torrington to Koyo in 2011

The stocker's are just fine too. It was the smaller 7/8" journal that was the problem. Now that it's 1" I'd bet there are zero failures of the caged bearings.
