Default Opinions needed on tear down pic's

Prepping for 107 build and found my rods stand by themselves and was not thrilled about the condition of the cylinder walls and Pistons. Was chasing an oil consumption issue with dealer for the past year to which they been giving me the run around. Thoughts greatly appreciated.

Hard to see well, but what I do see, does not look all that odd.

What year bike/engine and how many miles? I'm also not seeing anything out of the ordinary. What do you think is wrong in the pictures?

The marks I see seem normal for cross honed cylinder and I am not a mechanic...actually to me it almost looks like freshly honed cylinders...I didn't even stay at the Holiday Inn last night either.

Anyone catch the rods stand by them selves? The rods shouldn't be sticking, if they are, you have bigger problems. You might get the pleasure of replacing or having the crank rebuilt.

Rods should be very free on the crank and for the cylinders, all I can see is the normal scuffing that the piston skirt makes in the cylinder. All normal wear. Don't see an issue.
